Overview

The Arkansas birth control site is part of the Power to Decide / Bedsider ecosystem, providing localized birth control information and clinic access for Arkansas. I was a major contributor with 140 of 492 commits (28%) over about four months in early 2024. Built on Drupal, hosted on Pantheon.

What I Built

  • Accessibility updates across the site, including button styles and QA (ABC-77, ABC-78, ABC-89, ABC-94)
  • Mobile menu and main navigation overhaul (ABC-83, ABC-84)
  • Homepage map component scaffolding, later replaced with a static image (ABC-85, ABC-86)
  • "Explore Birth Control Methods" feature with contraception tabs and tray layouts
  • "Find Birth Control Near You" interactive behaviors
  • Footer redesign with updated logo and menu styles (ABC-87, ABC-88)
  • Visual redesign with a new color scheme
  • Favicon, mobile logo caching fix, and homepage title adjustments (ABC-97)
